Bass Fishing in the North Georgia Mountains

During our visit to Holly Pine Haven in September, my son found his way on the ATV to Fightingtown Creek. I drove to Fightingtown Creek in our van and it is 1.1 miles from our cabins. If our guests wanted to walk from the cabin, it is in walking distance if you are used to walking up and down gravel & dirt roads that are hilly. It is definitely cardiovascular exercise. Make sure your ticker is in good health or just drive your vehicle. Fightingtown Creek is off the dirt road in back of our cabins. Here is a picture of a 13" Small Mouth Bass that my son caught using Joe's Brand Spin Flies. My son gutted the fish by himself and cooked the meat in a pan with butter and garlic. He said it was the best tasting fish he ever had. He just told me he caught sun fish and trout from this same creek. Wish I had been there to take pictures of the other fish he caught!
If you stay in our Blue Ridge Cabins, you too can fish from his same creek and catch some pretty good fish.
